Liora Senn
Rogue, Aether Spy
Liora Senn
Species
Human
Appearance
Liora is a compact, fine-boned woman with the careful stillness of someone who has spent years pretending not to listen. Her movements are soft and economical, but never delicate. She steps like a person crossing thin ice, placing each foot with intimate knowledge of where the floor will complain. Her face is open and almost motherly at first glance, with a small crooked smile and cheeks that crease deeply when she laughs. The contradiction is in her hands: broad-knuckled, scarred, and permanently stained with blue-black ink. She leaves people with the impression that they have just been comforted by someone who could also quietly ruin their life.
“Her voice is low, rounded, and unhurried, with soft northern vowels and a faint river-city lilt. She rarely speaks above conversational volume.”

Distinguishing Features
A pale scar runs from the left corner of her mouth to the underside of her jaw, giving her smile a subtly lopsided shape.
The nails of her left hand are stained blue from years of handling Aether Ward cipher ink.
She wears a silver bead at her throat that contains a hidden list of sacred sites.
A small white patch interrupts the dark brown hair above her right ear.
Her shadow sometimes seems to turn its head a heartbeat after she does, a side effect of prolonged exposure to a sealed shrine of the Forgotten Twelve.
Voice
“Warm, quiet, and slightly husky, like someone speaking beside a banked hearth. Her laughter arrives suddenly and disappears quickly.”
Clothing
She wears a charcoal-blue wool coat cut like a respectable courier's uniform, lined with faded copper thread and patched at the elbows with gray seal leather. Beneath it is a cream linen blouse, a russet waist sash, narrow trousers, and quiet-soled boots. Her jewelry is deliberately plain except for a small hollow silver bead worn at her throat. Inside it is a rolled strip of paper bearing the names of twelve forgotten shrines.
Body Language
Liora tilts her head slightly when someone lies, as if listening for a distant bird. Her hands are usually occupied with a cup, a button, a thread, or a scrap of paper. When genuinely angry, she becomes perfectly motionless except for the slow rubbing of her left thumb over the scar at the base of her right index finger.
