Drakon Sun-Gilded
Species
Aethelgard Half-Dragon, Gold Draconic Ancestry
Appearance
Drakon Sun-Gilded is a broad, heavy-framed half-dragon whose gleaming gold scales are stippled with forge-soot that never quite washes away. His insulated lead-lined plate fits with severe precision across the torso, yet the left pauldron is visibly over-repaired with mismatched copper rivets, the only sign that his armor has survived more disasters than he admits. Fine scale ridges run from his brow to the back of his skull like hammered filigree. He keeps his black-gold crest braided into three narrow cords, each tied with a red furnace thread. His movements are measured and economical, but his long tail betrays him, tapping twice whenever he is angry. He smells of hot iron, waxed leather, and bitter citrus salts. The unexpected softness of his appearance is a tiny felt charm shaped like a sleeping lizard, tucked beneath his gorget.
“His voice is low, breathy, and edged with a dry metallic rasp. He speaks in measured clauses, pauses to calculate before answering, and slips into Draconic technical terms when angry.”
