Appearance
Tuv is a narrow-shouldered human with the wiry balance of someone raised around wagons, ropes, and uneven roads. His skin is sun-browned across the nose and hands but pale at the throat, where his collar rarely covers a thin crescent scar. His black hair is cut unevenly with a knife, its ends stiffened by road dust and cheap lamp oil. He moves with a loose, almost lazy sway until danger appears, at which point every motion becomes precise and economical. His smile is quick, crooked, and unexpectedly gentle, while his hands are callused enough to suggest years of work rather than mere performance. He dresses like a penniless minstrel but keeps his boots polished to a soldier's standard.
“His voice is low, dry, and surprisingly resonant for his slight frame. He speaks quickly when excited, slows to an almost ceremonial pace when discussing the dead, and peppers ordinary sentences with rhythmic pauses as if every conversation might become a song.”

Distinguishing Features
A thin crescent scar under his throat, usually hidden by a high collar.
A left thumb wrapped in red thread that he replaces every morning.
One front tooth is brass-capped and catches the light when he grins.
His shadow sometimes moves a heartbeat after he does when he sings.
Despite his shabby clothing, his boots are always meticulously polished.
Voice
“A dry baritone with a warm undertone, like a kettle beginning to sing over a low fire.”
Clothing
A faded saffron vest over a charcoal linen shirt, patched brown trousers, and a short blue wool coat lined with mismatched scraps of old performance banners. Tiny brass bells are sewn into the inside seams, where they make almost no sound. A red thread is tied around his left thumb.
Body Language
Tuv leans toward people when they speak, as if listening for a second voice beneath their words. He taps rhythms against his wrist when calculating, keeps his back near walls, and uses exaggerated bows to disguise how quickly he can reach his staff.
