Kresha Petrov
Sorcerer
Kresha Petrov
Species
Other, Pyroclastic Genasi
Appearance
Kresha is a lean, broad-shouldered man whose body moves with the restless economy of someone accustomed to climbing scaffolds, fleeing patrols, and sleeping in unsafe places. His skin has the dull copper tone of fired clay, textured by years of desert grit and furnace heat. Fine glittering particles cling to his forearms and collar even after washing, as if powdered glass has entered his pores. His hair rises in uneven black curls threaded with natural strands of translucent blue crystal. His eyes glow like coals seen through deep water. He smells of hot metal, bitter orange peel, and smoke, though he insists the orange is not his fault. The contradictory impression is striking: his presence radiates dangerous heat, yet his hands are usually cold enough to make a person's skin prickle when he touches them.
“Fast, vivid, and rough-edged. Kresha speaks in compressed images of pressure, heat, sparks, ash, and cracking glass.”

Distinguishing Features
Fine blue crystal dust glitters permanently across his forearms and collar.
His black curls contain several translucent crystalline strands that chime softly when he turns his head.
The air around him visibly shimmers when he is angry.
His palms are strangely cold despite the heat radiating from the rest of his body.
He smells of hot iron, smoke, and bitter orange peel.
Voice
“A rasping baritone with a dry crackle beneath it, as though every word has passed through a furnace. When furious, he becomes quieter rather than louder.”
Clothing
A charcoal-gray insurgent coat reinforced with stitched leather plates, a sleeveless rust-red shirt, wrapped work trousers, heavy climbing boots, and a hood lined with reflective mica. Blue plasma motifs have been painted along the coat seams, but several have been deliberately scratched through to confuse observers.
Body Language
Kresha leans forward as though conversation were a physical contest. His fingers constantly pinch invisible threads of heat from the air. When frightened, he becomes very still, and the blue glow under his skin grows brighter around his wrists.
