Seshra Sheshen
Noble
Seshra Sheshen
Species
Dragonborn
Appearance
Seshra is very young for a noble and carries herself with the rigid care of someone taught that every movement is witnessed. Her scales are burnished bronze, but the plates along her shoulders and spine have a fine green patina where sea air has weathered them. Her horns sweep backward in short, polished crescents, each ridged like old hammered metal. She moves with long, careful steps that make her seem taller than she is, yet her hands are constantly busy adjusting cuffs, clasps, and rings. Within a minute of meeting her, people notice that she takes up too much space for someone trying to be unobtrusive. She leans close when listening, folds herself into doorways at odd angles, and forgets that her tail can knock cups from tables. The unexpected contradiction is her delicacy: she handles flowers, letters, and frightened animals with astonishing gentleness, while treating expensive furniture as if it were a battlefield obstacle.
“Her voice is low, breathy, and sibilant, with a careful courtly rhythm. She softens harsh consonants when comforting someone and lets her natural Draconic hissing sharpen every word when angry.”

Distinguishing Features
Her bronze scales carry sea-green patina along the shoulders, spine, and tail tip.
Her polished horns are etched with tiny family legal marks, like miniature lines of script.
She wears a ring made from a broken floodgate bolt rather than a valuable signet.
Her tail frequently knocks against furniture because she forgets its reach.
She smells faintly of saltwater, lamp oil, and crushed mint.
Voice
“A young woman's low, breathy voice with a soft rasp beneath it, as though every sentence has passed through smoke. Her formal diction is precise, but sudden warmth makes her sibilants blur into a conspiratorial whisper.”
Clothing
A deep indigo robe of heavy wool and silk, chosen to contrast sharply with her bronze scales. It is embroidered with pale green river reeds at the cuffs and lined with practical pockets. Beneath it she wears a fitted cream tunic, soft leather boots, a narrow belt for her rapier, and a bronze clan clasp shaped like a bridge. The robe hem is usually damp or marked with mud despite her attendants' efforts.
Body Language
Seshra angles her horns toward whoever is speaking and keeps one hand lightly touching the nearest solid surface. Her tail gives away her mood, tapping when impatient and curling tightly around one ankle when afraid. In public, she stands with her shoulders square and chin raised. In private, she hunches over documents like a student trying not to be caught reading after bedtime.
