Protect the Stolen Sigils
Read Aloud
- The ward circle flares once, then gutters hard as black robes spill from behind the pillars. - Six shadow adepts fan out for the sigils while a duelist steps into the dim and cuts the room in half. - The braziers are dying. If the light goes out, the whole floor belongs to them.

Battlefield Zones
1
Runic Circle
A black stone circle etched with half-lit sigils. The floor is slick, cold, and perfect for shadows to spread.
2
Pillar Ring
Four cracked pillars ring the room. They split sight lines and give the duelists places to vanish and reappear.
3
Ash Edge
Broken braziers and scattered ash line the edges. Flames gutter low unless someone feeds them or the wards flare.
Terrain Levers
- A ward circle can be re-ignited with an action to shed bright light in a 15-foot radius and give attackers disadvantage on Stealth in that area.
- A broken brazier can be kicked into a lane to create difficult terrain and block a charge.
- A ritual pillar can be shoved or climbed to break line of sight or gain cover.
