Appearance
A young woman with a stillness that makes the garden seem to gather around her. She waits with her weight balanced over the balls of her feet, one heel slightly raised as if she is listening through the soil. Her movements are economical and almost surgical, yet her hands are perpetually stained with tender traces of life: green beneath the nails, silver pollen along the knuckles, and dark loam caught in the lines of her palms. She has a narrow, thoughtful face, a long braided mane, and a habit of holding her breath whenever she examines a damaged plant. The unexpected contradiction is that her presence feels severe and almost sterile at first, but when she laughs, it is sudden, bright, and childlike enough to startle birds from the rafters.
“Low, measured, and intimate without being soft. She speaks as though every sentence is an ingredient being weighed.”

Distinguishing Features
Her left thumb has a translucent patch of skin from an old chemical exposure, showing faint green veins beneath it.
She breathes almost silently when calm, but produces a soft whistling intake through her nose when startled.
She wears a ring made from braided root fiber that remains warm even in winter.
The ends of her braid are bound with tiny porcelain tags, each inscribed with a date rather than a name.
She often leaves a faint scent of crushed fennel, wet stone, and cold metal in any room she occupies.
Voice
“A low contralto with a dry edge, more felt than heard in quiet rooms. Her consonants are crisp, and she tends to draw out the first syllable of a person's name when deciding whether to trust them.”
Clothing
A high-collared charcoal work coat made from waxed linen, layered over a pale gray wrap shirt and close-fitting brown trousers. Her sleeves are secured with ceramic clasps, and a narrow apron carries labeled glass vials, folded paper packets, and pruning tools. Her boots are soft-soled and permanently whitened by greenhouse dust. A faded blue scarf is tied around her wrist rather than her neck.
Body Language
She stands slightly sideways rather than facing people directly, keeping one hand near her satchel and the other free to touch nearby leaves. When relaxed, she leans against tables with one knee bent. When angry, she becomes unnaturally motionless and begins aligning tools by size.
