Kazi Tallibast
Barbarian, Path of the Tactician
Kazi Tallibast
Species
Leonin
Appearance
Kazi is a broad-shouldered tawny Leonin with a dark russet mane clipped short around the ears but left long at the nape, where it hangs in rough cords threaded with bits of blue glass. A pale scar runs across his left eye exactly as if a blade once tried to split his face, though the eye beneath it remains sharp and watchful. He moves with the careful economy of a veteran, placing each foot as though the ground might give way. His hands are huge and meticulously clean, while his teeth are chipped from years of biting leather straps and cracking battlefield nuts. The unexpected impression is not savagery but tired gentleness. He smells faintly of cedar oil, iron, and boiled citrus peel.
“His voice is low, dry, and measured, with the clipped rhythm of battlefield commands. He rarely raises it, even while angry.”

Distinguishing Features
A scar crosses his left eye, but the eye beneath it is keen and expressive.
His mane is threaded with blue glass beads taken from broken signal lamps.
His lower canine teeth are visibly chipped, making his rare smile look crooked and unexpectedly warm.
Carver is a broad butcher's-cleaver greatsword with a dark steel blade that seems to grow cleaner and keener after drawing blood.
His indigo coat is repeatedly repaired with bright copper thread, making every tear look deliberately marked.
Voice
“A low baritone with a sandpaper rasp, more weary than threatening. In battle, every word lands with the clean finality of a struck bell.”
Clothing
He wears a sleeveless indigo coat over layered linen wraps, all repaired with contrasting copper-colored thread. One shoulder is protected by a polished bronze pauldron that is far too well cared for compared with the rest of his clothing. His belt is made from old campaign pennants, their colors faded into thin stripes. He wears soft-soled boots for quiet movement and keeps a red scarf tied around his wrist.
Body Language
Kazi stands with his weight slightly forward, as if braced against an unseen slope. He keeps one hand near Carver's grip but never grips it casually. When listening, he lowers his head until his mane shadows his eyes. Around children and frightened civilians, his shoulders loosen and his tail makes slow, deliberate sweeps across the ground.
