Seal the Root Line

The stump line hums under your boots, and the green sink flares through the cracks. A half-buried grave marker shifts in the roots, and something cold pulls itself free of the light. The air tastes like wet stone and old iron. One wrong move, and the whole site will wake up with you in it.

Cracked stone ringed by mossy roots. The ground gives a little underfoot.

Rift Sink
A shallow dip of humming green light. Soft ground, cold air, and a low pulse in the teeth.

Burial Marker
A half-buried grave marker under roots. Broken slate, old iron nails, and a sealed niche behind it.
Terrain Levers
- Cut the roots to open a safe path across the sink.
- Smear ash or salt over the stump line to dull the humming light.
- Lift the flat stone marker to reveal the burial niche beneath it.
