Greszk Borsik
Fighter, Battle Master
Greszk Borsik
Species
Otterfolk, custom beast-person
Appearance
Greszk is a broad-shouldered otterfolk man with dense umber fur, a pale throat, and whiskers that twitch whenever someone lies. He moves with a sailor's rolling gait even on solid ground, favoring his left side as if the deck is always tilting beneath him. His hands are quick and careful, but his feet are planted wide and heavy. A brass ship's compass is always tied to his belt with red cord, its rim worn smooth where his thumb rubs it during tense conversations. He looks built for hauling anchors, yet he handles delicate knots with jeweler's precision. The unexpected contradiction is his expression: his small dark eyes and blunt muzzle give him a permanently severe appearance, while his actual smile is shy, lopsided, and almost boyish.
“His voice is low, quick, and slightly rough, with clipped river-country consonants. He speaks in short operational phrases during danger, then becomes unexpectedly poetic when describing currents, weather, or people he misses.”

Distinguishing Features
A brass compass whose rim is polished smooth by his anxious thumb
Long white whiskers on the left side of his muzzle, each tipped with a tiny blue bead from his first ship
A habit of standing with one foot angled outward, as though compensating for a permanent deck tilt
A low, rhythmic clicking sound he makes with his teeth while calculating distances
A surprisingly gentle smile that appears only when someone is being stubbornly brave
Voice
“A low river-barge rumble, softened by careful diction and interrupted by small clicks of concentration”
Clothing
A salt-stiffened navy coat cut short at the hips, reinforced leather shoulder guards, patched canvas trousers, knee-high river boots, fingerless gloves, and a red sash used to signal orders across a noisy deck
Body Language
He leans slightly left, braces himself against furniture without seeming to notice, and keeps one hand near his compass. When relaxed, he folds his arms over his stomach and rocks gently as if listening to waves. When threatened, his whiskers go perfectly still.
