Appearance
Nekari is a gnome with an unusually upright, long-limbed silhouette, closer to a small human than the round, compact shape many expect from her kind. Her tan skin has been weathered by years of open-road travel, leaving a fine grain of sun-darkened texture across her nose and forearms. A broad, delighted smile sits beneath a somewhat broad nose, and her bright hazel eyes seem perpetually on the verge of discovering something wonderful. Her vivid pink hair sticks out in every direction in springy, wind-resistant tufts, with several strands always caught in the clasps of her clothing. She moves with an eager forward tilt, as if her curiosity is physically pulling her toward the next interesting thing. The unexpected contradiction is her hands: despite her exuberant expression and restless hair, they are extraordinarily still when she performs, hovering over a map or instrument with priestly precision.
