Mira is a slight young woman who appears almost motionless until she decides to move. She waits with her weight on the balls of her feet, one heel hovering just above the floor as if she expects the library itself to shift beneath her. Her gestures are economical, but her attention is restless, traveling from lock to hinge to shadow before settling on a person's face. An unexpected softness contradicts her severe silhouette: she keeps a tiny knitted blue sock tucked around the hilt of her sabre to prevent the metal from clicking against its sheath.
