Glimmer-Stitch Lichen
An invasive, silvery lichen that grows in fractal patterns on tree bark. It leeches kinetic energy from the surrounding environment, creating a localized field of slowed time.

Detection
“Threads of iridescent silver and pale violet moss that appear to vibrate slightly even when there is no wind.”
Standard Engagement
A creature enters or starts its turn within a 15-foot radius of the lichen.
None
The temporal field remains active until the lichen is destroyed or suppressed.
When a creature triggers the hazard, it must make a DC 13 Dexterity saving throw. On a failure, the creature is Restrained by thickened air and takes 2d8 force damage. While Restrained, the creature takes 2d8 force damage at the start of each of its turns as it struggles against the time-locked field. A creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on a success.
The 15-foot radius around the lichen is considered Difficult Terrain. Creatures within this area cannot use reactions.
A creature that moves at half its speed or less while within the lichen's radius has advantage on its Dexterity saving throw against the Kinetic Feedback effect.
