The Choral Gate Spoils

Silence finally descends upon the crumbling gatehouse of the mountain keep after the party dispatched the fungal alarms and the winged predator that nested within the rafters. The piercing wails of the shriekers had clearly been used by the keep's former inhabitants as a crude security system, and the screecher was more than happy to investigate the noise. Sifting through the damp compost at the base of the mushrooms and the bone-strewn nest in the eaves reveals a small collection of belongings left behind by less fortunate travelers who failed to bypass the sentries.
