Behind a collapsed shelf in Arauthator's icy hoard, the adventurers find the spellbook wrapped in dragon hide and guarded by six nervous kobold servants. The kobolds concealed the archive beneath tribute coins, healing draughts, and stolen scholarly curios, while the two ice trolls kept larger valuables frozen inside a block of blue ice. Arauthator's presence is evident in the dragon scales, frost-rimed coinage, and the meticulous notes written throughout the spellbook. Most of the treasure is portable and useful to an 11th-level party, with the spellbook and scrolls offering the greatest long-term value. The white dragon scales and Heartfrost Shard may become the foundation for future cold-themed equipment, though both require an appropriate artisan to realize their full potential.
