After the Ambush on Foxbridge Road

The party picked through the remains of a hastily abandoned bandit camp by the ford. Scattered about were the practical tools of highwaymen and a few pilfered valuables intended for quick sale. You recovered the bandits' primary cash pouch, a usable crossbow with a handful of bolts, a battered short sword, thieves' tools that explain how these brigands slipped into wagons, and a small sapphire likely taken from a merchant chest. Rations, rope and a hooded cloak will keep a party on the road, while the potion of healing and the carved bandit token are useful spoils for immediate survival and social leverage. Taken together the haul is modest but solid for a level two party: enough coin to buy supplies, a few useful items to outfit a couple of characters, and one gemstone that can be sold or used to grease the right palm.
