How to Use HeyGen Video 1.0
- Step 1
Write the Shot
Describe the subject, the action, and the camera move. A short prompt with one clear action is easier to control than a paragraph of unrelated events.
- Step 2
Add an Image When the Look Matters
Upload one image and the clip starts from that frame. The video keeps the image's shape, so set the framing in the still before you generate. 1080p and 2K are available only on this path.
- Step 3
Pay for the Seconds You Need
Every whole second from 5 to 15 is available and the price is per second. A 6 second beat costs 6 seconds. There is no need to round up to 10.
Example Prompts
Slow push in on a hooded figure at a crossroads shrine, mist rolling past, lantern flame guttering, overcast dusk
A courier on a bicycle stops outside a stone inn, hands over a sealed letter, then rides back down the wet street
Wide shot of a mountain keep at dawn, clouds moving below the walls, banners snapping in wind
A spellcaster traces a sigil in the air, light builds and fades, camera holds steady, dark stone chamber
Close tracking shot along a market stall of glass bottles, then a turn to the vendor counting coins

About HeyGen Video 1.0 for CharGen
HeyGen Video 1.0 is one video model with two routes. A prompt alone generates the clip, and you choose the aspect ratio. Add one image and that image becomes the first frame. The higher resolutions, 1080p and 2K, are only available once an image is attached.
Key Strengths
The 480p tier at 3 gold per second is a low-cost way to draft a shot before you spend on 768p, or on 1080p and 2K from a still you already like. Per-second pricing across 5 to 15 seconds means the clip can match the length of the beat.
