Craggor, Mountain Maw

Mountain folk tell stories of a beast born from landslides and the bones of the mountain itself. Shepherds leave offerings of salt at high passes to pacify Craggors. Miners claim that listening to a Craggor's stomps hours before a quake can predict subtle shifts in the earth.

Bedrock Strength. The Craggor has advantage on Strength checks and Strength saving throws while on solid rock or packed earth.
Irritant Spines. The Craggor's spines are mineralized and carry irritant dust. Any creature hit by the Spine Volley must succeed on a Constitution saving throw or be poisoned until the end of its next turn. A creature that succeeds is immune to the spine irritant for 24 hours.
Scree Mastery. When the Craggor is on difficult mountain terrain, creatures that are knocked prone within 10 feet of it must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or slide 10 feet in a random direction determined by the DM, potentially moving into hazardous positions or off ledges.
Solar Harden. If the Craggor starts its turn in sunlight or direct weather exposure, it regains 5 hit points.
Cragjaw Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 14 () slashing damage. If the target is a creature of Large size or smaller, it must succeed on a Strength saving throw or be knocked prone and pushed 10 feet away.
Driving Club. Melee Weapon Attack: to hit, reach 15 ft., one target. Hit: 18 () bludgeoning damage. This attack can be used only if the Craggor has moved at least 10 feet straight toward its target this turn.
Spine Volley. Ranged Weapon Attack: to hit, range 30/120 ft., one target. Hit: 10 () piercing damage and the target must make a Constitution saving throw or suffer one level of exhaustion. The saving throw DC for this effect is Constitution based.
Mountain Quake. The Craggor stomps the earth in a 15-foot radius centered on itself. Each creature other than the Craggor in that area must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or take 14 () bludgeoning damage and be knocked prone. On a successful save, a creature takes half damage and is not knocked prone. Once the Craggor uses Mountain Quake, it cannot use it again until it finishes a short or long rest.
Counter Snap. If a creature moves within 5 feet of the Craggor or ends its turn there, the Craggor may make one Cragjaw Bite attack against that creature.
