Created by the 'Spark-and-Spoon' Alchemical Collective in Blummidlop, the Gorgonzola Ooze was intended to solve hunger in the Honeydew Hills. The experiment relied on a 'Starter Culture' that proved too aggressive. After devouring three apprentices and a prize-winning cow, the culture was thought to be destroyed. Unfortunately, a single 'sample' was sold to a local merchant in Crossways Hold as a high-yield novelty.

False Appearance. While the ooze remains motionless, it is indistinguishable from a mundane wheel of cheese.
Corrosive Form. A creature that touches the ooze or hits it with a melee attack while within 5 feet of it takes 4 () acid damage. Any nonmagical weapon made of metal or wood that hits the ooze corrodes. After dealing damage, the weapon takes a permanent and cumulative -1 penalty to damage rolls. If its penalty drops to -5, the weapon is destroyed.
Pungent Aroma. Any creature that starts its turn within 5 feet of the ooze must succeed on a Constitution saving throw or be poisoned until the start of its next turn. On a successful saving throw, the creature is immune to the ooze's Pungent Aroma for 24 hours.
Amorphous. The ooze can move through a space as narrow as 1 inch wide without squeezing.
Pseudopod. Melee Weapon Attack: to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 10 () bludgeoning damage plus 7 () acid damage. If the target is a creature, it is grappled (escape ). Until this grapple ends, the target is restrained, and the ooze can't use its pseudopod on another target.
Self-Replicate (Recharge 6). The ooze sheds a small portion of itself. A Tiny Gorgonzola Ooze (use Gray Ooze stats with 5 HP) appears in an adjacent space. It acts on the same initiative count as the parent ooze.
Curdling Splash. When the ooze takes fire damage, it can spray a burst of boiling whey. Each creature within 5 feet must make a Dexterity saving throw, taking 7 () acid damage on a failed save, or half as much on a success.
