Sulfurnyx, Sulfurborn Maelstrom

Old hunters' tales call it a brimstone nanny that steals voices and burns promises. Fey elders whisper that sulfur fey form where bargains are broken and the land itself grows bitter. Bargain with one and a traveler may find their throat full of smoke instead of words.

Amorphous Sulfur. The sulfur fey can move through a space as narrow as 1 inch wide without squeezing. It can hover and ignore difficult terrain that is gas or smoke.
Fey Ancestry. The creature has advantage on saving throws against being charmed and cannot be put to sleep by magic.
Mist-Born. While in gaseous or foggy conditions it has advantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks and its Engulf recharge increases only on a 6.
Corrosive Touch. Any nonmagical metal weapon that strikes the sulfur fey corrodes slightly: after a melee attack deals damage to the fey, that weapon loses its nonmagical status for 1 minute for purposes of bypassing resistances unless cleaned by magical or acidic means (DM adjudication).
Sulfur Lash. The sulfur wind lashes with choking tendrils. Melee Weapon Attack: to hit, reach 15 ft., one target. Hit: 18 () bludgeoning damage plus 9 () fire damage and 9 () poison damage. If the target is a creature, it must succeed on a Constitution saving throw or be poisoned until the end of its next turn.
Engulf. Recharge 5-6. The sulfur cloud surges, attempting to swallow creatures in a 15-foot-radius sphere centered on itself. Each creature in the area must make a Strength saving throw. On a failed save, a creature is restrained and engulfed inside the cloud; it takes 18 () acid-equivalent (sulfur corrosive) damage plus 9 () fire damage at the start of each of the sulfur creature's turns and is blinded while engulfed. A creature can repeat the Strength save at the end of each of its turns, freeing itself on a success. If the target succeeds on the initial saving throw, it takes half the initial damage and is not restrained.
Sulfur Breath (Recharge 6). The monster exhales a rolling wall of choking gas in a 30-foot cone. Each creature in that area must make a Constitution saving throw, taking 28 () poison damage and 14 () fire damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a success. A creature that fails the save is also poisoned for 1 minute. A poisoned creature can repeat the save at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on a success.
Singeing Reprisal. When a creature the sulfur fey can see within 10 feet hits it with a melee attack, the attacker takes 4 () fire damage as sulphur flares and stings their skin.
Drift. Move. The sulfur fey moves up to half its speed without provoking opportunity attacks.
Sulfur Spark. Sulfur Spark. Ranged Spell Attack: to hit, range 60 ft., one target. Hit: 9 () fire damage and the target must succeed on a Constitution saving throw or be blinded until the end of its next turn.
3rd level
Stinking CloudConjuration A cloud of putrid vapor that heavily obscures an area and forces creatures to hold their breath or become nauseated. Concentration and movement are taxed for those within.
Gaseous FormTransmutation The sulfur fey turns itself and equipment into a gaseous form, gaining the benefits of moving through small openings and resistance to nonmagical damage while the spell lasts.
4th level
BlightNecromancy A withering blast of necrotic-like energy that drains moisture and life from a target, dealing heavy damage to plant and living creatures and potentially killing weaker creatures outright.
