Elara 'The Eel' Sylvaranth
Commoner (Urchin)
Elara 'The Eel' Sylvaranth
Species
High Elf
Appearance
Elara is a striking contrast of elven elegance and urban rot. She possesses the sharp, high cheekbones and graceful frame of her people, but she is coated in a layer of permanent harbor grime and charcoal soot. Her hair is a tangled, silver bird nest decorated with small fish bones and copper wire. She moves with a liquid, unnerving silence across the tavern rafters, her presence often announced only by the faint scent of brine. Her most startling feature is her eyes, which are a piercing, iridescent violet that remains clean and bright despite the filth on her face. She has an odd habit of keeping her fingernails impeccably manicured and polished with crushed beetle shells, a single vanity that defies her squalid lifestyle.
“Her voice is raspy and rhythmic, like the tide pulling back over stones. She speaks in short, clipped sentences and frequently uses nautical slang and thieves' cant.”

A jagged scar across her left collarbone shaped like a fishhook
Preternaturally clean and polished fingernails
A small wooden eel totem tied to her left wrist with seaweed cord
Piercing purple eyes that seem to capture light in the dark

“Low, raspy, and quick-paced with a distinct coastal lilt.”
Clothing
She wears a patchwork coat made of waxed canvas and stolen leather scraps, oversized for her frame and filled with hidden internal pockets. Beneath it is a salt-stained linen tunic and breeches that have been patched so many times the original fabric is gone.
