Fighter
Hiroto Tsubaki
Species
Human
Appearance
He moves with the upright, deliberate carriage of a blade-trained youth. His katana is always within reach at his hip, its scabbard lacquered deep indigo streaked with gold leaf that is worn in a single arc from where he habitually draws it. His kimono is practical and slightly too short in the sleeves, showing callused forearms from training. He keeps one eyebrow shaved as a sign of his clan's minor rite, though his left ear bears a tiny copper cuff borrowed from a friend in town, an incongruous trinket that glints when he turns his head. When he walks he sways as if listening to a rhythm only he can hear.
“Polite and measured, often using short, proverb-like turns of phrase. Speaks slowly when explaining something to teach it.”

Distinguishing Features
Shaved eyebrow on the right
Small copper cuff on his left ear
Callused fingertips and a faint salmon-colored scar along his right forearm from a river stone
Voice
“Clear, young tenor with an undercurrent of resolve. When angry his voice tightens like pulled string.”
Clothing
A practical cotton kimono dyed indigo, a half-cloak that keeps rain off one shoulder, simple leather boots, and a lacquered scabbard with a single gold streak. He often rolls the left sleeve to tie a white cloth band around his forearm while training.
Body Language
Small, quick adjustments of stance even when standing still. Fingers rest near the hilt when nervous. Tends to bow inclined from the waist before speaking to those he respects.
