Sir Kaelor Thornwell
Paladin
Sir Kaelor Thornwell
Species
Human
Appearance
Sir Kaelor stands with the weathered confidence of a man who has kept vows amid storms. His plate armor is burnished to a soft, moonlit sheen and marked with shallow grooves from countless battles. Over his pauldron hangs a tattered banner embroidered with a white oak leaf. His movements are precise and economical with a soldier's economy, yet his left sleeve is always rolled to the elbow to reveal an intricate series of faded ink scars coiling down his forearm like an old map. Unexpectedly he wears a pair of simple woolen gloves underneath his gauntlets, a humble comfort against the cold that betrays a homespun past. When he approaches he smells faintly of iron and rosemary.
“Direct and soft for friends, formal and clipped when dealing with nobility, and terse but fair when interrogating suspects. Uses old river metaphors when moved.”
