Selene Vey
Cleric, Twilight Domain
Selene Vey
Species
Human
Appearance
Selene Vey has the sturdy, well-fed frame of someone raised among stonecutters rather than cloistered scholars. Her weathered ivory skin is unblemished except for a thin silver scar beneath her left eye, a mark left by shattered chapel glass. Her large bright-blue eyes seem almost luminous in darkness, yet her expression is usually severe and listening, as if a second conversation is happening beneath every spoken one. Raven-black hair falls in a straight, tousled curtain to her shoulders, moving like wet silk when she turns. She stands very still before acting, then moves with abrupt, practical certainty. The unexpected contradiction is her hands: broad-palmed, callused, and faintly scarred from hauling bells and firewood, they look more like a mason's than a cleric's. She leaves behind an impression of cold moonlight wrapped around a banked hearth.
“Low, deliberate, and slightly husky. Selene speaks as though every word must survive a long silence.”

Distinguishing Features
A thin silver scar beneath her left eye shaped like a crescent shard.
Bright-blue eyes that reflect candle flames with unusual clarity.
Callused hands and a faint dusting of white stone powder beneath her fingernails.
A moon amulet that is warm even in freezing weather.
A habit of wearing one black glove when handling objects from the crypt.
Voice
“A quiet contralto with a dry warmth beneath its severity. When she recites funeral prayers, her voice becomes almost musical, but she stops before the final refrain.”
Clothing
White and light-gray hooded clerical robes with broad sleeves, a high collar, layered wool panels, and nearly invisible silver crescent embroidery along the hems. A small silver moon amulet rests at her throat. A weathered leather belt holds candles, bandages, chalk, and a plain mace. She wears sturdy black boots dusted with cemetery soil.
Body Language
Selene keeps her shoulders slightly turned, as though listening toward a sound behind her. She rests two fingers on her moon amulet when anxious and holds eye contact too long when deciding whether someone is dangerous. In combat, she plants her boots firmly and moves only when movement has a purpose.
