Kargut Veszkar
Fighter, Spire-Broken Champion
Kargut Veszkar
Species
Half-Orc
Appearance
Kargut is a towering half-orc with a broad, sloping back and the compact density of a quarry bull. His lower tusks angle upward past his upper lip, so that even his quiet smiles look faintly predatory, while his laughter exposes a row of carefully filed iron caps on two molars. His hands are enormous and deeply callused, with blackened nail beds and palms roughened into ridges from decades of sword drills, reins, and jungle vines. He moves with unsettling economy, never wasting a step, yet his head turns in abrupt birdlike snaps whenever he hears something living nearby. The contradictory impression he leaves is of a brutal executioner who handles fragile objects with extraordinary gentleness.
“His speech is low, clipped, and carefully enunciated, with hard stops on k and t sounds. He speaks like a soldier giving reports, even when describing personal grief.”

Distinguishing Features
Two lower tusks rise above his upper lip and make every smile look like a threat.
Two iron-capped molars click audibly when he chews or laughs.
His hands are ridged with thick calluses, darkened nails, and old sword-grip stains that never fully wash away.
He wears nine iron rings on a red wrist cord, each taken from a person he failed to save.
He smells faintly of wet leather, crushed basil, and whetstone dust.
Voice
“A deep, dry baritone with a rasp like a whetstone dragged over metal. He rarely raises his volume, making his sudden battle cries feel physically jarring.”
Clothing
Dented plate armor painted once in Morthelion's blue and bronze, now worn down to irregular patches by jungle rain. He wears a moss-stained half-cloak, a belt of old horse tack, wrapped greaves, and a red cord around his left wrist bearing nine small iron rings.
Body Language
He stands with his shoulders slightly forward, as if bracing against an invisible wind. His sword hand remains loose and low, never gripping until violence is certain. When confused, he presses one tusk against his lower lip. When someone speaks of mercy, he becomes unnaturally still.
