Feather Falls
Feather Falls is built directly into the wet granite of the Silver Wash gorge. Houses are anchored by heavy iron chains and cantilevered over the white water. The roar of the falls is a constant physical pressure that residents have learned to ignore. Every street is a narrow walkway slick with moss and mineral deposits. Life here moves to the rhythmic thumping of the Great Wheel, a massive wooden engine that harvests the water's power.

A town where the path to dinner involves a hundred foot drop and a mossy rope.
