Black Chain Lash

This weapon is a long whip forged from matte-black chain links that seem to drink in nearby light. Each link is wrapped in thin strands of living shadow, giving the whip a smoky outline even when held still. The lash ends in a hooked, barbed chain-knot that rattles softly like distant armor. In dim light, the whip leaves a brief afterimage of violet-black smoke when cracked through the air.
