Her black eyes are sharp and reflective, almost beadlike in bright sun, yet they soften when she is counting coins or checking a customer’s injuries. Tribal markings in dark charcoal and chalk-white spiral across her face in precise, ceremonial lines, and a long scar runs down her left side like a pale seam in a finely sewn garment. She moves with a quick, prowling grace, but her tail often sways in a calm, merchant-like rhythm that makes her seem oddly patient. She wears aztec inspired studded leather armor in muted violet and leaf green, fitted over a practical sash of hanging pouches, and the polished bones on her belt are ornamented with tiny glass beads and trade seals. Her most unexpected feature is a bright strip of embroidered cloth tied around one wrist like a lucky ribbon, far too delicate for someone so blunt and hard-eyed.
