The Hearth of Deepstone Pass
The lodge began as a miner's refuge built into the mountain pass, meant to shelter caravans from snow, raiders, and avalanches. Over generations it was expanded by a dwarf clan into a thriving wayhouse where stonecutters, smugglers, pilgrims, and sword-worn adventurers trade news as readily as coin. The oldest hall still bears the marks of pick and fire from its first days, and the clan claims the central hearth has never gone cold since the founding.
