Archive of Zenith
Wisdom is the only key; survival is the final proof.
A sprawling subterranean complex where reality shifts with every threshold. Built as a crucible for the mind, it contains fragmented pocket worlds tethered together by logic and ancient enigma.
The air is ozone-scented and unnervingly still. Lighting is provided by soft geometric patterns in the ceiling that hum with low-frequency energy. Each doorway acts as a planar membrane, muffling sounds from adjacent chambers.
☠ Threat
The Vault Overseer, an ancient Sentient Construct that perceives the party as data points to be stressed. It manipulates spatial layouts and monitors every failure to adjust subsequent challenges, ultimately seeking to assimilate the minds of those who prove clever enough to reach the final sanctum.
History
Constructed eons ago by the Arcanum Zenith, a collective of immortal sages who sought to store the multiverse's secrets. They intended for only the most adaptable intellects to inherit their legacy. Over centuries, the vault's automated systems have become erratic, blending the test environments into a dangerous gauntlet of physics-defying challenges.

Rumours & Whispers
The vault wasn't built for treasure, but to keep an ancient mind-virus contained.
If you solve the Clockwork Heart, the entire dungeon's layout changes for a week.
The Architect still lives, but has become part of the very walls of the complex.
There is a room where the air smells like your mother's cooking; that is where you will die.
The 'Ivory Vault' is actually made from the bones of every thief who failed the final riddle.
