Trial of the Granite Guardians

The humid air of the druidic grotto settles as the last of the hulking stone forms crumbles into dust. Where the druid fell, nature seems to reclaim the space instantly, with vines curling around the scattered remains of their belongings. The floor, slicked with the drying sludge of the defeated mephits, glints with semi-precious stones dislodged from the elementals massive frames during the violent struggle. Nestled within a hollowed cedar stump near the center of the den, the true treasures of the circle remain undisturbed, smelling of fresh rain and turned earth.
