The Lycan's Cull

The blood-soaked grass of the clearing tells a story of a desperate struggle. Among the carcasses of the mangled wolves and the slowly reverting form of the slain werewolf, the remains of a previous military patrol lie scattered. Shattered shields and rusted mail are strewn about the mud, but several items of value remain intact within the leather satchels of the fallen or clutched in the lycanthrope's dying grip, scavenged from victims of the battlefield.
