Rovan Kilnscale
Artificer
Rovan Kilnscale
Species
Dragonborn
Appearance
Rovan is a broad-shouldered dragonborn whose scales look like hammered copper over dark basalt, each plate catching light with a faint oil-slick sheen. His snout is scarred by old sparks and fine burns, and one horn has been capped with a polished brass sheath engraved in tiny spirals. He moves with the patient roll of a forge bellows, careful and deliberate, yet his eyes are restless and bright, as if he is always measuring heat, weight, and risk. He wears a soot-black apron over a surprisingly immaculate white shirt, the cuffs stitched with gold thread and tucked under heavy leather bracers. The contradiction is impossible to miss: a smith who looks half battle-scorched monk, half court artisan.
“Low, measured, and resonant, with a habit of ending serious promises in a near-whisper as if sealing hot metal under sand.”
