Tharvix Ember-Keel
Sorcerer (Draconic Bloodline)
Tharvix Ember-Keel
Species
Dragonborn (Copper heritage)
Appearance
Tharvix walks like someone who studies cause and consequence: deliberate, toes gripping cobbles for balance, shoulders rolled forward as though always shielding a manuscript. His scales have a dull, verdigris sheen with copper highlights along the crown of his head and the ridges of his spine. He keeps one sleeve perpetually singed and smelling faintly of ozone; small burn-crescents trail the hem as if his fingers touch flame more often than leather. Around his neck he wears a battered magnifying lens on a chain and a folded piece of paper kept in a glass vial—his 'library ticket'. His tail is often looped through the strap of his satchel like an extra hand. He smiles with a slow, sideways baring of teeth that can feel both disarming and slightly predatory. Unexpectedly, his right foreclaw has been replaced by a delicately wrought brass prosthetic shaped like a quill, which gives off tiny sparks when he speaks passionately.
“Measured, peppered with old waterway metaphors and antiquated cataloging terms; his voice rises when excited and grows soft when confessing. He often prefaces statements with 'As the ledger says.”

Distinguishing Features
Brass quill prosthetic replacing right foreclaw
Singed sleeve hems that always smell of ozone
Long tail that loops through straps like an extra limb
Amber eyes with an emerald fleck in the left pupil
Voice
“A low, resonant baritone with a metallic undertone; when he laughs it crackles like an ember; his cadence is deliberate and punctuated by soft clicks—possibly the brass quill touching his teeth.”
Clothing
A patchwork duster of waxed cloth and vellum pockets; fingerless gloves caramelized at the edges; a sash of faded library ribbons; low leather boots studded with hammered rune-discs. He layers odd trinkets—bits of boat line, a brass gear, a child's marble—stitched into seams like talismans.
Body Language
Small, precise gestures: smoothing a sleeve to calm himself, dragging his tail along surfaces to steady a point, tilting his head to collect thoughts. When excited he paces in circles, tail coiling faster.
