Dustin Domingue
Paladin (Oath of the Dragon-Heart)
Dustin Domingue
Species
Dragon-Hearted Human
Appearance
Dustin is a towering, severe presence who looks carved from storm-dark stone and emberlight. He stands still in a way that makes a room feel braced around him, but when he moves it is with a predator's economy, every step measured as if he is always crossing a battlefield. His skin is warm bronze with faint, scale-like flecks along the collarbones and ribs that catch the light like polished copper. Beneath the sternum, a soft amber glow pulses when his draconic heart stirs, visible most clearly in darkness or under moonlight. His armor is blackened obsidian plate engraved with thin silver rune-lines that seem almost liquid when he breathes. Unexpectedly, his gauntlets are lined with pale blue velvet on the inside, a careful softness hidden beneath all that menace. His face is sharply handsome rather than pretty, with a disciplined mouth, a healed split in one eyebrow, and eyes that look almost blue until anger pulls a narrow golden ring into view. He smells faintly of warm metal, cedar smoke, and rain on stone.
“Low, measured, and formal, with a commander’s precision. He rarely wastes words, but when he does speak at length it is usually about duty, beasts, or the responsibilities of power.”

Distinguishing Features
An amber glow visible beneath the sternum where the Heart of Dragons beats.
Silver rune-scars spiraling along both forearms like bonded chains.
One eyebrow split by an old blade wound that never healed evenly.
A voice that seems to resonate faintly in stone rooms.
A contradictory gentleness with animals that contrasts sharply with his warlike bearing.
Voice
“Deep, resonant baritone with a controlled cadence, as if every sentence has been weighed before being released”
Clothing
Obsidian plate armor etched with rune-seals, dark travel leathers beneath, a heavy crimson cloak fastened by a dragon-tooth clasp, and black riding boots made for rough ground
Body Language
His posture is rigid and military, but his stillness is never relaxed. He tends to angle one shoulder toward threats and keep his hands clear of his weapons until the last possible instant. When listening, he tilts his head slightly as if hearing something farther away than the room itself. In private moments, the tension in his jaw eases first, then his hands, as though he is constantly holding himself together by force of will.
