Vex of the Fractured Hue
Commoner
Vex of the Fractured Hue
Species
Cyclopian
Appearance
Vex is a walking prism of sharp edges and refracted light. Their body is covered in overlapping keratin plates that transition from deep cobalt at the joints to a neon, translucent violet at the tips. They move with a mechanical, clicking rhythm as their plates slide against one another. Despite their jagged, terrifying silhouette, they wear a soft silk scarf that contrasts sharply with their razor-edged skin. Their single central eye is massive, containing two distinct golden pupils that spin independently when they are excited or agitated. They often look like they are vibrating, as their jagged plates reflect light in a way that creates a shimmering heat haze around them.
“Metaphorical and rhythmic, filled with clicking sounds produced by snapping their plates together..”
