Elira Dawnbrook
Species
Half-Elf
Appearance
Elira Dawnbrook is a tall, lithe half-elf with a graceful, almost feline stillness, like a hunter who learned patience from animals rather than people. Her movements are fluid and quiet, but never stiff, as if every step has been negotiated with the ground itself. Her sun-kissed skin carries scattered freckles across her cheeks, nose, shoulders, and the backs of her hands. A faint burn scar on her left forearm catches the light oddly, silvering when she moves. Her copper-red hair is usually braided loosely down her back, though loose strands always escape and soften the hard lines of her face. Her amber eyes are warm and keen, but there is a startling contradiction in them: a calm, almost matronly tenderness that can turn instantly into the watchful, predatory stare of something built to survive the wild. She smells faintly of pine resin, smoke, clean leather, and warm fur.
“Soft, warm, and measured, with a gentle melodic cadence. She rarely wastes words, but when she does speak, her sincerity is unmistakable.”

Distinguishing Features
A pale scar running from wrist to elbow on her left forearm from the day she freed Ashwing from a snare.
A cloak made from storm-drake feathers that never lies flat and catches light with a blue-black sheen.
A habit of standing with one heel slightly raised, ready to move at any instant.
Her hands are calloused, but she handles injured creatures with startling tenderness.
A small drake-tooth charm tied inside her braid with green thread, hidden unless she loosens her hair.
Voice
“Low, gentle, and slightly hushed, with the kind of calm that makes frightened animals settle.”
Clothing
Fitted leather armor reinforced with drake scales in weathered greens and browns, fingerless gloves, a utility belt stocked with salves, feed keys, whetstones, and grooming tools, and a storm-drake feather cloak that shivers faintly in a breeze. Her boots are practical, mud-scuffed, and always quietly repaired instead of replaced.
Body Language
Her posture is relaxed until danger appears, then every line of her body becomes economical and precise. She tilts her head slightly when listening, keeps her shoulders low around animals, and folds her hands behind her back when trying to hide emotion. When flustered, she glances down and tucks loose hair behind one ear too many times.
