Dragonborn Castle of Zenbis rises above the city on a broad stone rise, its black basalt towers and pale granite curtain walls visible from nearly every district. The structure is grand without being gaudy, favoring strength, symmetry, and sharp gothic lines. Tall lancet windows are fitted with colored glass that catches the sun in deep reds and amber tones, and each buttress is carved with stylized dragon scales, hooked claws, and watchful faces. The entrance courtyard is wide enough for a formal escort, while the inner keep climbs in layered halls and towers connected by covered bridges, spiral stairs, and vaulted corridors.
