The Hearth of St. Oryn
A sturdy, circular stone structure situated at the village crossroads. It is constructed from local gray granite and capped with a steep slate roof. A central chimney constantly emits a thin wisp of white smoke from the sacred fire within. Heavy oak doors, reinforced with iron bands, remain open from sunrise to sunset, welcoming any who seek warmth or guidance. Inside, the floor is paved with smooth river stones and the walls are draped with woven tapestries depicting scenes of harvest and community.

The Hearth of St. Oryn
The air is warm and smells of cedarwood and beeswax. A low, constant hum of quiet chanting or the crackle of the central hearth provides a soothing background noise that masks the sounds of the street.

History
Divine Services
The temple offers various restorative services for travelers. A donation of 50 gold pieces to the poor box provides access to Lesser Restoration, while 100 gold pieces covers a Remove Curse casting. On the first day of every month, a communal feast is held where the priestess casts Bless on all who break bread together.
Sacred Relics
The Flame of Oryn is a minor artifact housed in a small glass lantern on the altar; it sheds light in a 30-foot radius that reveals the true form of any shapechanger. Additionally, the Gilded Poker used to tend the fire is said to be a +1 mace that deals an extra 1d6 fire damage against undead, though it is only used in times of extreme peril.
Tithe and Charity
The Hearth of St. Oryn manages the village granary and distribution of food during winter. They accept donations of non-perishable food and mundane equipment, which Sister Elara often trades to adventurers in exchange for help with local problems, such as clearing monsters from the nearby wood.
