Bloodhymn Crypt
The dead do not rest here, they are repaired.
This crypt was converted into a necromantic laboratory where blasphemous clerics dissected holy doctrine the way a surgeon cuts flesh. The upper halls hold stores, shrines, and workrooms, while the lower chambers hide the true experiments, protected by traps, undead guardians, and a priest who turned resurrection into a weapon.
Cold, wet stone carries the sting of old preservatives and spilled incense. The halls echo with distant chanting, the scrape of bone on flagstone, and the occasional hiss of alchemical steam, while green witchlight seeps from cracked lanterns and jarred cadavers.
☠Threat
The deepest chamber houses a blasphemous high cleric who distills life force from corpses and living intruders alike, turning it into fuel for reanimation and warped miracles. His lesser priests and failed test subjects patrol the halls, while the shrine network siphons vitality from anyone who lingers too long.
History
A small funerary crypt was built here by a charitable temple to house plague dead and protect their burial gifts. Decades later, a heretical order of clerics seized it, expanding the complex into a laboratory for studying bodily humors, sacramental corruption, and controlled reanimation. Their rites outlived the order, and now the crypt keeps working long after its masters have gone.

Rumours & Whispers
