Smoke on the Field

The battlefield is littered with powder smoke, shattered earth, and the remains of a disciplined firing line. The three riflemen carried practical military gear rather than treasure, so the spoils are mostly salvage: one usable musket, spare ammunition, patched armor, and a few army-issued field supplies. Most of the value comes from gear that can be repaired, repurposed, or sold to the right buyer after the fighting stops.
