As the party traverses the scorched remains of the village, the crunch of charcoal underfoot provides a somber rhythm. While many homes are reduced to chimneys and skeletal beams, certain cellars and iron-bound containers have preserved remnants of the past. Within a half-collapsed apothecary and the ruins of a wealthy manor house, these items were shielded from the worst of the inferno's heat.
