The rogue and arcane trickster left behind the sort of gear that favors secrecy, quick escapes, and hidden passages, while the shadow's presence has tainted the area with cold drafts and lingering dread. Most of the valuables are compact and easy to carry, with a strong emphasis on stealthy equipment, portable wealth, and one or two useful magical finds suitable for a 5th-level adventuring party.
