Bastion of Falling Dawn
The Bastion of Falling Dawn is a vast spelljammer fortress-ship, long ago built to carry a citadel between worlds. Its hull is forged from ribbed star-metal plates, cathedral arches, and siege-tower bastions bound together by glowing sigils that still pulse beneath layers of ash and age. Massive broken sails of silver membrane hang from its masts like torn wings, and its keel ends in a cracked prow shaped like a lion's jaw. Though it once flew the void, the ship crashed ages ago and now can never leave the atmosphere. It can still rise, glide, and bank through the skies, but some ancient wound in its heart binds it to the world below. When a chosen pilot takes the helm, the ship awakens around them with a low, resonant voice in stone and brass, and the pilot perceives the world as if their senses extend to every plank and porthole. They can see, hear, and sense motion, heat, and vibration in a wide radius around the ship, as though standing in the center of a vast living eye.
