This sinister relic appears as a slender dagger with a narrow, black-silver blade and a hilt wrapped in stitched mourning cloth. Set into the pommel is a palm-sized foldout grimoire of thin, ash-gray pages bound in cracked onyx. The pages never seem to tear, and pale sigils drift across them like breath on cold glass. When opened, the book hangs from the dagger's hilt like a living appendix, its margins lit by faint corpse-green script that responds to the wielder's voice.
