Nightneedle, the Whispering Dagger

This dagger is unnervingly light, balanced for a perfect throw, and cold to the touch without feeling unfriendly. Its black blade swallows reflections, while the silver edge glints only when a strike is about to land. When held in still air, it seems to vanish at the corners of the eye, and any coin, silk, or page placed beneath it darkens as if under deep shade. A soft, private whisper follows its movements, like a breath drawn through a keyhole.
