Armband of the Brawler

This broad armband is forged from dark bronze wrapped over layers of cracked red leather, with thorn-shaped filigree curling around its circumference like a coiled fist. At rest, it feels cool and heavy, but when worn it tightens slightly against the bicep and hums with contained force. Faint runes pulse along the inner band whenever the wearer lifts, shoves, strikes, or braces against a foe, as if the metal itself is eager to hit back.
