Bellstaff of the Mother of the Flock

This staff is carved from pale mountain ash and capped with a silver-and-ivory effigy of Yngya, the Mother of the Flock. The effigy bears eight slender horns, a crown shaped like a snow-clad peak, and six luminous crystal eyes. Three tiny bronze bells hang from the crown, the crook of the staff, and the trailing wool tassels, chiming softly whenever the wielder prays, turns in battle, or approaches sacred ground. The wood is wrapped in braided lamb's wool dyed winter white, and the metalwork is etched with curling snowflakes and protective prayer knots.
