Bellstaff of the Mother of the Flock
This sacred staff is cut from pale mountain ash that smells faintly of winter pine and clean wool. Its length is wrapped in silver wire and narrow bands of white leather tooled with tiny sheep motifs and falling snow. Near the top, a carved effigy of Yngya rests within a crown of horn-like prongs, her six eyes set with blue-white crystal and her mountain-shaped crown edged in frost. Seven bells of different sizes hang beneath the carving, chiming softly whenever the staff is moved, as if answering distant chapel chimes from Ewefall Mountain. The head glitters with a dusting of perpetual rime that never melts, even in warm weather.
