Elaris Vael
Lesser Deity
Elaris Vael
Species
Outsider
Appearance
Elaris is striking in a quiet, unsettling way, like moonlight found in a sealed room. Their skin has the soft sheen of weathered pearl with faint seams of gold beneath the surface, as if dawn itself once tried to bloom through stone. They move with deliberate care, never wasting motion, but when they turn their head it is with the wary speed of prey and the patience of a guardian. Their body seems slender and almost fragile at first glance, yet there is an old, immovable steadiness in the set of their shoulders. The contradictory element is their expression: kind, almost gentle enough to invite trust, while their hands are scarred in the shape of old shield-rings and broken locks.
“Measured, gentle, and formal, with a habit of using travelers' blessings, legal phrasing, and endearments in the same sentence.”
